The SeaBus is a passenger-only ferry service in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It crosses Burrard Inlet to connect the cities of Vancouver (at Waterfront station) and North Vancouver (at Lonsdale Quay). Owned by TransLink and operated by the Coast Mountain Bus Company, the SeaBus forms an important part of the region’s integrated public transportation system. In 2022, the SeaBus had a ridership of 4,245,700, or about 12,800 per weekday as of the first quarter of 2023.

SeaBus Accessibility
- At Waterfront Station, there’s an elevator located at the north end of the skywalk to access the SeaBus terminal.
- Terminals are equipped with double-wide doors (3.65 m), which provide plenty of room for mobility aids of all sizes.
- All SeaBus terminals have graduated ramps to allow you to board the SeaBus.
- SeaBus attendants are available at SeaBus terminals and on ferries to assist you.
- Life jackets are located under each seat and there are four life rafts onboard each SeaBus.

Payment methods for SeaBus
- Use a Compass Card, Compass Ticket, contactless payment cards, or mobile wallet.
- Tap your card, ticket or mobile wallet to the card reader at the fare gates (or validator for West Coast Express) as you enter and exit a station to validate your fare.
- Tapping reserves the fare for a 3-Zone trip, or a full-distance trip in the case of West Coast Express.
- When you tap, the system calculates the toll zones you’ve traveled and charges you the correct fare. This applies to all products, including Monthly Passes.
